What are your family sessions like?
My family sessions last anywhere between 1 and 2 hours depending on the offers you choose. They are fun and easy. If you are worried about the time, the place, the colour of clothes you need to wear, my family photo guide has you covered. And we can always hop on a call to iron the details.
What types of weddings do you shoot?
I will document your wedding whatever your religious or non-religious celebration is, and whatever your orientation. And wherever you are on the map, I will document your story if you'll have me. Love is love.
What is your booking process for weddings?
After we have a first chat, I will send a pricing guide with my offers and I will recommend one that would work for your wedding day. Once you make your choice, I will send over a contract and invoice for booking deposit. I do not save dates without deposit. I will however make a note. I need both the contract signed and deposit paid to seal your date. Do note that it's best to book a minimum of 1 year in advance to make sure you can secure your date.
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organise your day, the best moments for the couple photos, anything to smooth the process. And if you need me for a rehearsal dinner, I am also available for that. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding special. I am hands-on but a fly on the wall when needed too. I shoot with minimal gears to avoid being noticed and to be able to move at a moment's notice.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based on the beautiful island of Mauritius (Indian Ocean) and I love to travel! If you want me to travel to photograph your story, I will be delighted. It will require a travel fee amongst other things, depending on where it takes place. Travelling requires prepping and it's best to start early.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos between 18 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them and choose your favorites!
What happens if it's going to rain on the day of my portrait/family/wedding shoot?
I try to stay atop the weather as much as possible ahead of my sessions, and I will make a rain call if the chance of rain is high for that day/time. Especially in the summer in Mauritius, rains are frequent. In that case, we will reschedule on another available date. For weddings, there is always a plan B in place, and we always discuss the possibility of not being able to do the couple session on the day and have a plan ready for that.
Can I book you for an engagement session without booking my wedding with you?
My engagement sessions are mainly reserved for my clients. But if it is not high season, I may consider your inquiry.
